Wild Turkeys!!!

Well, as some of you know I spent a week out at the wonderful Critchley Ranch-ishness!!

FUN times had by all! Some would disagree though...Like the lovely Dawn, (Bethany's momie) who was convinced I must have been bored out of my mind! Seeing as Bethany worked until 4 every day. But I quite enjoyed the tranquil feeling of the wilderness and looking at the horses, and no brothers bothering with their friends I might add.

Now I must admit it was very wet almost all week...in fact there was a tornado warning!! COOL, eh? I loved it... ... ...to the point where I actually went for a 5 hour walk in the pouring rain one afternoon!! I was going to walk to where Bethany worked in midland from where she lives in Penetang, but I missed the turn and walked an hour and a half past it and decided to just walk back because I didn't recognize anything anymore.... There were these guys in a closed in patio that watched me walk past them and then when I got back to their house over 3 hours later they got all excited and all waved at me!! Wow, country folk...not much else for them to do I guess.

I visited Bethany at work a couple of times because Dawn was going into town and couldn't stand watching me just sit there anymore. So she dropped me off.... Yes, the peeps there are entertaining...Oh Greg...

One of the days I spent 6 hours twisting my hair while watching X-Men 1 and 2.... It took a while, but looks cool. I feel like Avril with the living in the country and a zillion braids (or twists) cuz there's nothin else better to do anyways...and We played much Crack The Case stuff too while i was there!! One of the only games I actually play... I love the mystery...

It was great and on the way home from their place Bethany suddenly yelled out in the van, "WILD TURKEYS!!" I looked and lo and behold the wild turkeys were standing next to the road...Weird.

How to Party it up Like a True Raver?

A Walk down memory lane!! This is what I was thinking this time-ish last month....

So, I was called in as usual to help my brother with the cash at the door of his rave. Well, so I was there and I really do like going to those things...It was called Resurrection. Held by Purple Heaven...well what is left of it. See it seems the owner totally ran off with a crap load of money that was spent on "good tickets" by people trying to get into his party...so after they were all ready to head over for the opening of the venue the owner split!! And they have no clue where he went! So the owners of Nightmare (my big bro DJ Unabomber included) decided to please the crowds and have a new party in honour of the memories of a beloved company (purple heaven that is...for those who are not following my trail) ...thus named Resurrection Purple Heaven! And the first hour and a half was totaly FREE entry!

I must say I didn't realize how much I missed doing that stuff with him!! Now he wants me to start working regularly again because he forgot how nice and relaxing it was to have someone he trusted watching the monies for him!!! Yes, he does trust me...well, more than most anywho. I'm not sure he fully trusts anyone really! But I love him majorly! And I'm so gonna start working at his good ol' Rave Events so much more now!! Yes, it is good stuff!

Now I am babbling...but the funny part is that in the midst of all the young peoples that were totally high or drunk...or just happy and psychotic...there was this random OLD couple in the corner of the club who totally paid the money to come in and they were actually trying to have a deep philosophical conversation with their martini's and whatever....so out of place!!
Then Bethany Critch and I were totally watching people dance and this one guy was like jumping on both legs and swinging his arms like he was SKIPPING!!! What the Crap!!! It was so tripped out...and there were many more who clearly couldn't dance...but we love them!!! And not just because we must but because they entertain us too!!

Yes, so this was the fun that occurred...and this one guy totally tried to sit on Bethany's legs so she moved her legs hoping to allow him to sit on the 'unoccupied chair' only to have him look at her and say...and I quote..."I don't have STD's, if that's what your wondering! I DON'T!!" WTH?? These people need help! And then when we went to Coffee Time for a little late snack that guy was in the bathroom with a few girls...and they asked if we wanted to join them...I kinda told them we'd wait till their done...he decided to mention that they were only peeing! He was so serious too! Messed up my friend, messed up!!

Yes, so this is how THEY party it up...definitely not true ravers...If only they knew that we totally can tell that they don't know what they are doing! It is sad...but they will be fine, now if only I could keep the Candy Kids from trying to put their angel wings, halo's, bracelets, rings, soothers, candy, flowers....(trail off into deep contemplation) all over me and my counter...hmmm...

Puzzle Pieces

Three blondes have just finished a jigsaw-puzzle so they decide to celebrate by going out. They walk into a bar chanting, "61 days 61 days!"

The bartender gets curious and walks over to them and asks, "Why are you chanting 61 days?"

One of the three answer, "Because the box said 3-6- years!"
